Google App Maker..!

Google has recently announced the launch of its new feature called the App Maker. This new service will enable users, who are part of enterprises to create and customize applications according to their business requirements. App Maker, a new low-code developer tool for building custom enterprise applications. This App Maker will be available through Google’s Early Adopter Program for G Suite Business.

Google App Maker

As per the product manager of Google App Maker, Google is targeting enterprise developers who need to build line-of-business solutions for an entire company but need there to be less sophistication than developers who might build external-facing applications. App Maker is a low-code, application development tool that lets you quickly build and deploy custom apps tailored to your organisation's needs. Whether you’re looking for better ways to on-board new team members, staff projects, or approve employee requests, App Maker helps you build an app for that in days instead of months.

This service will allow users to drag and drop the widgets on an interface provided that it abides by the visual framework of Google’s material design. These applications can be further personalised with content from J Query, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. When the apps go live, users will be able to oversee and track them with the help of Google Analytics. This app will make users address their specific needs without taking the help of a developer.

Apart from developing a range of applications, App Maker will also connect with APIs and a variety of data sources. The system also features an in-built support for Maps, Groups, Contacts, and other services and products from G Suite. Users can also make use of Prediction API, Directory API, and other APIs to develop an even superior application.

Apps which will be created with the help of App Maker will run on the exact same infrastructure of G Suite services such as Google Drive, Google Calendar, and Gmail. The data generated within the App Maker can be stored in Google Drive, a well-structured database. Moreover, users will be able to combine and merge App Maker with other G Suite services too like Google Maps, Google Big-query, Google Translate, and Google Drive. Google has previewed its application development tool, App Maker, with a few of its G Suite customers who have already created and applied the applications in their organisations. Enterprise customers and partners have used App Maker to make everyday business processes simpler and more efficient-whether it’s to track suspicious login activities, take analog claims processes and make them digital, or track office inventory orders.

If you’re interested in trying out App Maker, it’s available today through our Early Adopter Program for G Suite Business customers.
